Sylvester Olorunda Olori Foundation  was officially launched in 2025 in Dagbala, Akoko Edo Local Government Area of Edo State, Nigeria, as a beacon of hope and support for underserved communities. The inauguration ceremony marked a historic moment, drawing dignitaries, community leaders, and residents who gathered to witness the formal establishment of a legacy rooted in compassion and service.

Name Unveiling & Brief History of the Foundation:

Named after Chief Sylvester Olorunda Ogbofa Olori , a revered elder statesman and father figure in the Dagbala community, the foundation reflects his enduring values of integrity, generosity, and community upliftment. Chief Olori’s lifelong commitment to the wellbeing of others inspired the formation of this foundation to institutionalize his humanitarian legacy for generations to come.

Objectives & Areas of Focus:

SOOlori Foundation is guided by a mission to improve lives through targeted interventions. The foundation’s core objectives are:

  • Elderly Care: Providing support systems for aged individuals in rural communities.

  • Education/Training: Supporting young people in the community to attain Education, Training and acquire skills that will help improve their livelihood.

  • Social and Mental Wellbeing: Provision of facilities, infracstructure and supporting events that will help improve social wellbeing and mental health of all in the commuinty

Through these focused pillars, the foundation strives to foster dignity, opportunity, and wellness in the communities it serves, beginning with Dagbala and gradually expanding its impact across Akoko Edo and beyond
